Northern Michigan University, BA; New York Institute of Technology, MA
Would you be willing to relocate?

What general salary range are you looking for?

What’s been the most frustrating aspect of your job search?
I have gone on a few interviews, but I have yet to have any job offers. I feel like companies are being extra selective when they make the decision to hire an external job candidate. If you answer even one question “wrong” in the interview or do one small thing that can be counted as a negative during the interview process, you can kiss that job goodbye! It is very frustrating when you go on three or four interviews and do not get a job offer in the end.
Why would a company want to hire you?
I am hardworking and I go above and beyond the call of duty to get the job done. At my last position, I was hired on as a Studio Manager and quickly mastered that role taking on more and more responsibilities within the company. Eventually, I was working in an Executive Assistant capacity acting as the right hand person to the President of the company. Outside of that, I have a can do attitude and believe that no job is too big or too small. I have fantastic people skills, I am friendly and well-liked and I have been able to maintain long standing relationships with clients over the years.
What’s the most fun you’ve had during unemployment?
Unemployment has forced me to take risks and do things that I normally wouldn’t do. I have been making a real effort to attend networking events throughout the city, put my name out there and meet new people. Prior to being unemployed, I never would have gone to a networking event let alone walked through the doors on my own. It has made me bold and somewhat fearless.
